Blackberry Curve vs iPhone 3GS – Pros and Cons

Should I get a Blackberry curve, an iPhone 3GS or something else? This is a question which many people struggle to answer, especially college students. This article will help you determine the Pros and Cons of each phone model.

- Better durability. If you drop a Blackberry Curve and an iPhone 3GS the same number of times then I would suspect the iPhone 3GS will break first, especially with its exposed touch screen.

- Flash. The in-built camera comes with a flash function. This is obviously useful if you want to take photos in the dark.

- QWERTY Keyboard. Easy to type quickly.

- Alarm Service. You can turn off your Blackberry but it will come alive when you set an Alarm time. This conserves battery power.

- Battery Life. I own a Blackberry Curve and I have to recharge it at least once every two days.

- Design. The Blackberry Curve is not the most appealing when it comes to creativity.

- Rolling mouse ball. Some people have complained about the mini roll ball which controls your cursor. Some say its too hard to control but I say its a pretty sweet feature.

- Inbuilt Camera. The quality of the pictures is not that great.

- Visuals. Nothing can beat the sleekness and sexiness of the iPhone 3GS.

- Music Management. Enough said.

- Internet Browsing is fast with Safari.

- Applications. There must be over a hundred thousand applications for the iPhone.

- Power Conservation. I think the iPhone 3GS has a pretty long battery life unless you use apps often.

- On Screen Keyboard. Many of my friends reported that it was difficult to type and mistakes were common.

- No MMS. You can’t send pictures, videos and such through texting (there is a third party application which can fixes this problem).

- Vulnerability. If the screen cracks then you are pretty much screwed. There is a high chance of your screen cracking if you drop it on the floor.

- No Multiple texting. You’ll have to send the same message again and again to a group of people (there is a third party application which fixes this problem).
