How to tell if you have a keylogger on your computer
Do you suspect that your computer activities are being monitored? Keyloggers are one of the main ways which hackers use to record your computer activity. Keyloggers record your every movement, including key strokes and what you click. If you want to find out if someone (perhaps your parents) is key recording you then read on.
#1 Scan with your antivirus programs
Regardless of whether the keylogger is genuine or not, antivirus programs normally detect keylogger processes as spyware. The first action you should take is to see if your antivirus program detects the keylogger or not. If you do not detect anything then move on to the next tip.
#2 Check your task manager
This method should confirm whether you have a keylogger on your computer or not. Activate your task manager by pressing ctrl + alt + delete simultaneously. Once the task manager window appears, select the process tab and check each process one by one until you find a suspiciously named process. Type the name of the process into Google to validate whether that suspicious process is a keylogger or not.
If you did not find anything after using two of the above techniques then you should be free of spyware and keyloggers.
