Twitter users beware: The Koobface Virus returns

Users of twitter should beware as the next line of viruses hit the Twitter Network. This time, the virus which is known as ‘Koobface’ utilizes infected twitter accounts and post updates which leads other twitterers to a bogus website. The Koobface Virus is nothing new. It has already hit the likes of other social networks such as Myspace and the almighty Facebook.

When a twitterer clicks on a Koobface link like above, they are taken to a bogus video website. If the user clicks the play button of any video then this starts the virus mechanism. Once the user is infected, they utilize their twitter account to spread the link to more twitterers across the network. If you were recently suspended with seemingly no reason at all then it is highly likely that your account has been compromised by the Koobface virus. So how do you remove the Koobface virus?
